Regulatory Status Disclosure

IBCOT's regulatory posture in Texas.

  1. [COUNSEL REVIEW] IBCOT intends to operate under the closed-membership professional-organization provision of Texas Education Code §132.002(a)(5), subject to written determination and counsel review. IBCOT makes no claim of approval or exemption until a written determination supports the exact claim. Member education and the certification examination are available to members. The written determination and counsel review described above remain in progress, and IBCOT will update this disclosure when they conclude.
