Translator matching
Find a translator
Tell us what you need translated. We'll email you up to three IBCOT members who match, and you choose.
How it works
Tell us what you need
The language pair, the document type, your state and when you need it. No account, no charge, and no documents: never send one now.
We look at every request
IBCOT staff check the request, then IBCOT emails you up to three members who list that language pair: Certified members first, then Professional Members. Placement is never paid.
You choose
Each match links to the member's profile and live verification record. You contact the one you choose through IBCOT; your email is shared with that member only when you write to them.
Kept distinct
What a match tells you, and what it does not
- Every member we send is an IBCOT Professional Member in good standing who has completed the Member Standards Orientation on official-document practice.
- Certified members have also passed the IBCOT Certified Official Document Translator examination. Their badge says so and links to the verification record.
- Languages are member-declared. IBCOT does not test general language fluency and does not review individual translations.
- A match is an introduction, not a referral, a ranking by quality, or an endorsement. IBCOT does not perform translations, set prices, or guarantee acceptance by USCIS or any other agency.
For law firms, nonprofits and organizations
Request matches as often as you need; there is no account and no charge. Offices that want their own staff admitted as members can apply as an organization: every person is reviewed on their own application, and sponsorship never bypasses the review.
